The PlaybookReading the room…
Diwali gifting has a math problem nobody talks about. You want to spend a sensible amount, on something the person will actually use, that doesn't look like you grabbed it off the nearest shelf on your way to their house. Dry fruit boxes get regifted. Candle sets gather dust. Even the nice diyas end up in a drawer by December. A game, on the other hand, gets pulled out at the next family get-together, the next cousin sleepover, the next time someone says "ab kya karein" after the mithai runs out. Here's how to actually pick one, at every budget.
Both games, one dust bag, zero regifting risk.
Shop by Budget
Diwali gifting usually comes with an unspoken ceiling depending on who you're buying for. Here's what fits where.

Who You're Actually Buying For
👪
Cousins & Family
Go with Khufia Mafia or the bundle. Big joint-family Diwali gatherings need a game that seats everyone, not just four people at a table.
💼
Colleagues
Boom Machale is the right pitch here, thoughtful without being a grand gesture, and genuinely fun rather than a desk decoration.
💕
Couples
The Launch Bundle works well for a couple setting up their own Diwali hosting tradition, one game for date nights, one for when the whole friend group shows up.
🏠
The Host Friend
Whoever's living room becomes the default Diwali party venue every year deserves the bundle. They'll use every piece of it.
Why It Actually Fits the Festival
This isn't a random pairing. Boom Machale's entire theme is built around firecrackers, matkas, and mithai, the exact imagery of a Diwali evening, so it doesn't feel like a generic gift wearing a festive bow, it feels made for the night itself. Khufia Mafia handles up to 26 players, which matters more than people expect once the whole extended family is actually in one room and someone inevitably says "chalo kuch khelte hain."
Everything unboxed: two games, a rulebook each, and a dust bag to keep it all together.
Making It Feel Like a Real Gift, Not Just a Box
✅Skip the shrink-wrap look. Move it into a small cloth or jute gift bag, even the dust bag that comes with the Launch Bundle works, and add a diya or a handful of sweets on top.
✅Write a one-line tag. "For the next time we're all stuck at your place" lands better than a generic Happy Diwali card.
✅Gift it early in the week, not on the day. That way it can actually get used during the Diwali gathering itself, instead of sitting unopened until after everyone's left.
At ₹1,780 for both games plus the dust bag, it's a gift that's still getting used well after the lights come down. Get the Launch Bundle →
