It wouldn’t normally sound appealing but this game is EASY and that’s what is amazing about it. You get over the learning curve so fast you go into the thrill. You play Boom once and you realise the ingeniousness of it. They’ve made it so easy, yet you need strategy and of course a little luck, so it’s always challenging. It made me feel like I was playing a game when I was 10, but it’s so fun as an adult too - like watching Lion King, great when you’re young but like discovering something completely new as an adult. It’s so new and yet so nostalgic. P.S. it would make such an amazing gift!
It’s definitely a game I kept coming back to and trust me, I don’t even like card games (other than the money ones, of course). But this is one of those rare games you want to keep experiencing for the first time, over and over again. You just finish a round and go, ‘Okay, again?
I’ve had the privilege to playtest Boom Machale a few times and it’s been such a *blast* each time! What stands out most to me, and I’d imagine to most people, is the visual design - it’s absolutely beautiful and fun (!!), something that still feels like a gap in the tabletop games world. The game’s aesthetic has such an attractive appeal, I’m sure that’s what’s gonna pull a lot of people in with curiosity to explore it further. The game itself is very fun and engaging - easy to understand, play and keep coming back to. As someone who sees tabletop games as a chill escape from her everyday life, I love when games are able to strike a nice balance of fun and strategy (without too much brain pain!). This feels like it could become one of my go-to games - whether for a relaxing night in with family, a board games brunch party with friends, or something to carry along during my travels! 10/10 recommend, let’s Boom Machale!!!

Boom Machale is an original creative genius that can be played with no strategy OR complete war planning AND it works either way. Both games will either tear relationships apart or create alliances for life. I respect this level of commitment to chaos
Boom Machale is the ultimate Indian pop showdown in a deck. As soon as I got a grip of all the rules and the cards I was soo hooked. It’s one of those games where you keep saying , just one more round trying to beat your friends. It’s a mix of total organised chaos with the much needed Diwali nostalgia. You can strategize or just chill and take it as it comes. I’m looking forward to badgering my friends to play it with me every time we have a gathering.
